2023 Hair Wrapped: Celeb Hair Transformations

It is without a doubt that 2023 featured some of the most iconic hair transformation moments to date! A variety of hair trends were on the scene, we saw changes from hair shades, adding extensions, to getting a chop.

Let's dive into some of our favourite and some of the most iconic hair transformations of 2023.

Rhianna

We have seen a variety of hair colours and cuts Rihanna has rocked. Recently Rihanna swapped her classic darker locks to enter her blonde girl era. The star had featured this new look in late 2023. The long honey blonde hair at waist length is a changeup that we are seriously loving!

Taylor Hill

If you haven’t already seen the video documented through TikTok of Taylor’s epic hair transformation, go watch it. Taylor unveiled the moment of chopping her long locks into a classy face framing 90’s pixie cut. The 90’s haircut inspiration is a movement we think we will be seeing lots more of in 2024.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has featured her blonde and black highlighted Gemini hair for the last few years, however in late 2023 we saw a new moment. The star traded her two-toned hair for a very monochromatic dark chocolate brown, which is a look we haven’t seen from Miley in a little while.

Jennifer Lopez

Sunkissed highlights, layers and bangs is a hairstyle that has Jennifer Lopez labelled all over it. Jennifer showed off her new look on her Instagram which featured thick “French-girl” forehead bangs with honey caramel blonde layers. Subtle yet bold perfect for the summertime.

Shay Mitchell

During Milan fashion week, we do tend to see changes in looks including hairstyle. One of the standout transformations during this week was Shay Mitchell. Shay Mitchell changed her glossy black locks to a vibrant cowboy copper colour. 2023 was the era of copper hair transformations, and Shay’s is up there with one of the best.

Winnie Harlow

Winnie featured a major hair transformation this year going from layered long locks to a feathery textured mullet. With bangs and a shorter cut up top, the hair has been styled and featured at a range of award shows. If anyone can pull this look off, it's Winnie.
