Effortless Waves Just Got a Whole Lot Easier with the New Double Waver

Have you heard? There’s a new girl in town… and she’s double the fun! The new Double Waver compact, lightweight, efficient, and the perfect tool for effortless waves on-the-go.Double Waver

… Okay but how is it different from our other wavers?

Our new Double Waver will give you the same dreamy waves that our 25mm Mermade Mini Waver does, however, has a few features that make this waver different.

  1. Firstly, the Double Waver has two 25mm barrels instead of three like the Mermade Mini Waver. This makes it more compact and lightweight, so it’s perfect to travel with and take on the go.
  2. The Double Waver creates softer, looser wave patterns resulting in a more effortless and ‘undone’ look.
  3. The Double Waver also features an anti-scald design, where the hot plates are protected by an outer casing. This generates less heat on the outside of the tool, and you’re less likely to accidentally touch the hot plate.
  4. Since the Double Waver is smaller, and more compact, it's perfect for those with shorter hair. The smaller design makes it easier to get closer to the root to create waves from top to bottom.

The Double Waver vs Mini 25mm Waver

So here’s how we are using the Double Waver to create those dreamy, mini waves.

Step 1:

Start off with clean, dry hair, that’s free of tangles. Then plug your double waver in and adjust the heat according to your hair. For healthier styling we recommend using 180°C/360°F heat setting. Unwaved hair

Step 2:

Secondly, using our Mermade Mist, we are going to spray this all over our hair. Mermade Mist is formulated as a thermal shield to protect your hair from heat and unnecessary damage. It also contains an antioxidant elixir that controls frizz, adds moisture, and helps your waves and curls last longer.Mermade Mist

Step 3:

Start by dividing your hair into small sections… smaller sections make more defined waves, so it’s personal preference how thick you want your sections to be. We recommend smaller sections for even heat distribution. Start by clamping the first section, starting at the root, eye line or chin line depending on the look you’re going for. Hold for 2-3 seconds and release. Move the Waver down the section, clamping so the top barrel overlaps with the last wave bend.Waving hair

Step 4:

Repeat the same process for all sections. Once you’ve finish clamping, you can leave the waves as they are if you like more definition. For a softer, more ‘undone’ look, gently brush through waves. Finish off with with the Super Serum, running lightly through the hair and focusing on the ends for extra softness and shine. Super Serum

The result? Effortless, dreamy waves. Trust me when I say The Double Waver is so easy and quick to use, it will become your new go-to!Waved hair
